Savages MVP Tracker - Week 2

Image
Savage's MVP Tracker     Week 2 results are in, who is leading the MVP race? Did some players underwhelm after week 1? What new faces will we see on the list? Week 2 MVP tracking starts now! *Disclaimer - games and performances I see on stream hold higher value to me than offsteram stats. Week 2 10. Dutchh - Vitagen(NEW) vs Lynx Dream on Ivern W 2/2/19 vs Lynx Dream on Javran W 4/1/20     Seasonal MVP contender Dutchh has taken a backseat playing a more supportive role to his high-flying teammates at the beginning of season 7, and while the funny missplays and bleeding in a matchup against Ahlefeldt, took him out off the week 1 list, the continuous excellence leaves me no choice but to start putting 3x All-SLE jungler in the MVP discussion. 9. Jesseija - Eternal Blizzard(NEW) vs Black Lotus Esports on Jhin W 9/2/10 vs Black Lotus Esports on Senna W ...

SLE Season 7 team logo ranking

Image
Ranking SLE Season 7 team logos on if I would recommend these places if they were food places.     The annual logo ranking is here. First was me ranking teams on what they would be if they were not amateur esports team:     After that, I started to train in boxing and jiu-jitsu so I had to start fist-fighting the logos:     Now I am trying to bulk. Getting up in weight has been one of the most difficult physical challenges I have done. Starting at 76kg, I am up to 82 kg, but I still have to get to 86kg in 2 months if I don't want to lose the bet and become a vegan for a full year. So without further ado, here is the list of teams as food places: 18. - Grubbers Bistro     In no way I would ever order anything from a place with this logo? Do I want to have a 36h diarrhea or just die? "Grubbers Cafe special" would be like Lithuanian Cepelinai(eww), but covered with mold. Disgusting! Last place by far. 17. Lynx Dream Cat Cafe...

Savage's MVP tracker Week 1

Image
Savage's MVP Tracker     The new season has started and as I mentioned before, I am picking back up my pen, and starting a new weekly article series - MVP Tracker, where I will follow the individual pop-offs of SLE players, and which player, in my opinion, is the frontrunner for the legendary SLE MVP trophy. *Disclaimer - games and performances I see on stream hold much higher value to me than offsteram stats. Week 1 10.  IWontLeash - Assasins & Greed vs Ablaze on Varus W 13/1/5 vs Ablaze on Smolder W 9/3/4 9.  Maybe - Assasins & Greed vs Ablaze on Skarner W 3/0/13 vs Ablaze on Ivern W 5/0/15 8.  Maxi Bam - Deadly Chi vs Good Chi Nebula on Graves W 11/6/11 vs Good Chi Nebula on Diana W 12/5/8 7.  Burgerflipper - Lynx Dream vs  Emrys Hyena on Varus W 12/3/6  vs  Emrys Hyena on Miss Fortune W 6/0/8     Game 1 was a bit messy even with the great scoreline as BF misstepped multiple times and got 1x1ed on a side by opposing...

Top storylines of SLE Season 7

Image
Top storylines of SLE Season 7     For someone who has been a follower of SLE for all 7 seasons, the season 7 intro stream got me incredibly hyped for this season. The word of the season - comebacks. So many legendary SLE players, that had taken a hiatus from the league are coming back - Kaptenen, Michy D, Flay2Day, Sovonix, just to name a few. So since the buys have replugged their keyboards to battle it out, so will I, dust off the writers' pen, and return with some articles during the SLE Season 7. Here are my top storylines for SLE Season 7. Ahlefeldt, Slim Odds with a massive upgrade     Since the first time I saw Ahlefeld on the SLE stage facing Eternal Blizzard in SLE season 3 play-ins, where he had a spectacular debut on Poppy securing his team a huge upset versus then massively favorited EB squad, I have been a fan of his. To build on his legacy, he made his name with massive AP Shyvanna performances, scoring single-game and single-season kill records. Even ...

Quick ADC breakdown.

Changed to private in my desk time to give this shitpost to the SLE community, enjoy. TLRD: Ghost - A prodigy of adcs has impressed me a lot in games I've seen. The main thing that makes Ghost stand out for me is that sometimes I watch this guy and think - wtf is he doing? and only 5 sec after I realise that the thing he did was smart af. Mechanics  S Game read  S Carry potential  S+ Teamplay  A Survivability  A- IWL - Disclaimer* The games I saw IWL play was vs div 2 teams, I am willing to say that his stock is inflated due to this reason. That being said, IWL showed strong carry play and perfect mechanics. I think this guy scored 4 pentakills in one bo2 series. Crazy good player. Mechanics  S Game read  S- Carry potential  S+ Teamplay  A- Survivability  B Jomiie - For me, the best "for team" player in SLE, will always pick and play the exact way/thing that the team needs him to. Very rarely makes a mistake, but I think a thing that sti...

Samsung Black History

Creation and the Past ( January 2021 )   Samsung Black was originally created as an academy team for Cloud 7 - a legacy team for Nashor's League (currently CWL). At first, it was known as Cloud 7 Academy but after the tryouts for jungle and support were concluded the team ownership was passed to me (Tekh). Then the decision was made to look for a new team name (partially because we were stomping the "main" squad in scrims). As Samsung (in Korea) had sister teams named White and Blue we have decided to go with that and name our team Samsung Black to be considered an independent team but still operating from Cloud 7 discord server. The main roster for Nashor’s League was Jonfoble, Weebie, MonkeyBusiness, Kanze, and Tekh(Me). We have finished the regular split second only to GAL (our main rival). In the playoffs phase we defeated the lower-seeded team, and then a 3-2 team named Fire in the semis. [ I was appointed an admin for NL after our quarters win as the league was co...

SLE finals thoughts

SLE Season 3 finals     Same as last season I will give my honest thoughts about the finals and how it went. Pre-series     We had scrimmed Black Manta 1-2 months ago when they started their comeback arc and lost to them both times 1-2, but there is an asterisk to those results. Iirc we did try some different strats in those games and we did not lose a single game to the original 5 man squad of BLM, In all games, they defeated us they used subs. That being said, they showed some solid teamplay as well as showed us the strategies that they can use to give us trouble. In the games, we defeated them, it was more about us rolling them with early game domination, while games they won were by dragging it into deep waters with heavy AoE buff champs like Karma, Seraphine, and Sivir.      That plus some extra research and vod review explains our bans versus them. Our idea was that without champs that boost their team like that and force them...
