There will be many awards, honors, and narratives we will follow in SLE Split 3 -  MVPs, winning streaks, champions, and comebacks, but one of the new awards debuting this split will be Rookie of the Split awarded to the best performing player playing their first split in SLE.  This is an individual award that does not include represented players' team record and game win rate but focuses on the ability shown on an individual basis.

    Today I am joined by SLE veteran, historian, and the backbone of Runtime - Vyon in our look into 10 of many rookies that just might take the honors of Rookie of the Split. 

Konhatzi - Reef Esports - TOP

    Reefs rookie top does not particularly like to be counted in with rookies but he is, and so far in the playins tournament he has made his name known. Already proven himself in CWL, Konhatzi is here to show that he is not only the best debutant but the best player in SLE.

    Vyon: Reef is a top team so for sure he will be interesting to watch, wide champion pool, strong laner, the idea of a solid toplaner for sure thing is not that easy to be the star player in a team like Reef where all players can carry so it's gonna be interesting to see if as a toplaner he can have such a big impact to be the difference maker in a top team.

Linus - Black Manta - TOP

    Black Mantas toplaner is a veteran in sense of playing competitive league, but he is a rookie in this SLE split. Linus brings an unordinary champ pool with lots of creative counter picks and no champ is out of the possibility when it's his R5 pick.

Taletou - INTelligence SG - TOP

    SGI is coming in SLE as one of the main favorites and it is easier to shine when you are winning. Intelligences' main carry might be Kami, but I would argue that Taletou from toplane is a huge carry on his own. Samvel is the midline weakside while both sidelines carry the games and will shine bright in the upcoming split.

Ahlefeldt - Primordials - Jungle

    A breakout star on playins stage, Ahlefeldt will be looking to mirror his playins performance in the regular season. Playing in division 2 the competition might be a bit less fierce and could give Primordials star the leeway to secure the Rookie of the Split award.

Kim Jensen - Eternal Blizzard - MID
    
    I have been hyping this man up a lot but we are yet to see the true breakout by Kim Jensen as he has struggled in playins stage. But you know what can wipe that not-so-confident first impression? Star-worthy gameplay in the regular season. EB is in div 1 and Kim Jensen needs to be the factor that takes EB from a light breeze to the storm that they are expected to be.

Neko - The French Inquisition - MID

    The other division 2 players highlighted Neko and TFI had very difficult playins, but now they are in division 2 and are ready to prove that it was just a hiccup and they are ready to play. Rookie of the Split is largely an individual award and Neko has the perfect champion pool to shine bright in the SLE twitch stream.

Kami - INTelligence SG - ADC

    The star ADC in ADC meta Kami is coming in hot in the SLE regular split. Playins already showed a lot and if he was able to finish the comeback in playins finals against Reef, Kami would come in with the hype of not only the Rookie of the Split favorite but also MVP favorite. But it was not meant to be. Still, Kami looked very impressive and will be looking to grab all individual awards behind taking SGI to SLE heights.

Ripper - Black Manta - ADC

    Patience, positioning, mechanics, and courage are all abilities that a perfect ADC needs and Ripper has all of them. It might not always be flashy, but Ripper is there not dying, dishing the damage and securing his team the win. Might not always be flashy, but clean gameplay can take you places.

Tisima - Runtime - Support

    With some player rotations, looks like Tisima will be the only rookie Runtime will bring to this SLE split. From a sub to a star Tisima has put in work to make Runtime one of the favorites of the split and might be rewarded with the Rookie of the Split award. Playmaking, peeling, or enchanting, Tisima can do it all.

Wiggys - CCG Theta Draconis - Support

    Theta Draconis is a hard-to-predict team, they can pop off or they can have a silent season and a lot of it will depend on the games Wiggys brings in. So far Wiggys has shown only Renata, but with some excellent playmaking champs in the champ pool, Wiggys will be the stream highlight that you will replay.

Top storylines of SLE Season 7     For someone who has been a follower of SLE for all 7 seasons, the season 7 intro stream got me incredibly hyped for this season. The word of the season - comebacks.
