SLE Split 2 - chasing the clinch.

 Division 1

Battle for RRRank 1

Going in the final 2 weeks of the regular season of SLE split 2, division 1 has divided into 2 fractions - teams that are gunning for 1st place and price that comes with it and teams that are trying to claim a single win that would guarantee their chance to appear in Playoffs. The race is as tight as possible, a single game will be the difference-maker in which team will claim 1st place, playoff bye, or the last playoff spot.

Team Vitagen - really did come out at the beginning of the split guns blazing, lapping the division competition and jumping out to a 6-0 start, defeating every team except for Reef Gaming. Unfortunately, the fireworks might have ended early with a 2-3 record in the following games. While still being the favorite for both league and playoff titles, Vitagen does not look so hot in the final weeks. Reef Gaming has proven to be Vitagen kryptonite convincingly 2-0ing them with Reef Addi hard gapping Vit xThaizz in both games.

Remaining games:2(Good Chi Gaming, NSG Based Department)

Team Vitagen's game of the regular season will be vs Good Chi Gaming, them being massive favorites against NSG Based Department, I would expect them to take that game and clinch at least a tiebreaker game for first place. A victory vs Good Chi Gaming and NSG Based Department would give Vitagen 13 wins, a number unachievable for the rest of the league, so I expect and promise that Good Chi Gaming will throw everything at them to prevent that from happening.

Savage Mikus prediction: 1st.

Team Evolution - starting the season with 1st place ambitions, Team Evolution has really impressed at some games but dropped other critical games that have eliminated them from the 1st place race. While showing up and taking a huge win against Good Chi gaming and giving Team Vitagen their first loss of the season, going 0-2 vs Red Team 1 and taking a heavy beating against Good Chi Gaming in game 2, has downgraded Evolution ceiling in my eyes.

Remaining games 3:(NSG Based Department, Reef Esports, Zero Gaming)

Game vs Reef Gaming will be a statement game for Evo, to show that they are contenders for victory in playoffs. They do hold 1-0 record vs Reef, but this win was not taken inside summoners rift. In case of no huge upsets, you can expect Team Evolution to end the season with, at least, 9 wins.

Savage Mikus prediction: 5th.

Red Team 1 - currently the only team that has been able to take our Red Team 1 has been Team Vitagen. Is Vitagen RT1s Achilles heel or has RT1 avoided hard matchups with the schedule they had so far? Only next week's games will tell. Currently, they are the only team to not drop any games vs Team Evolution with 2 strong performances, unique champion picks in topline with Rumble and Kled, and discipline, securing wins against Zero gaming.

Remaining games: 5(2x vs Good Chi Gaming, 2x vs Reef Gaming, NSG Based department)

Red Team 1 might have the hardest schedule between the remaining 1st place contenders with 4 games versus the currently hottest teams in the league - Good Chi Gaming and Reef Gaming. These games will show a lot about their form and potential as they might be the best team in the league or drop to the losers bracket early in the playoffs stage.

Savage Mikus prediction: 4th

Good Chi Gaming - running a 6 game winning streak, Good Chi Gaming looks to upset Vitagens 1st place claim. Currently, the only team to beat Reef Gaming in summoners rift, and the heavy beating they handed to Evo shows good chi, but if you look deeper in their winning streak, 4 of 6 wins have come against bottom-tier teams. Have to acknowledge support player Loco64 still yet to have lost a game in SLE and will be looking to keep it that way.

Remaining games: 6(2x Zero gaming, 2x Red Team 1, Team Vitagen, Reef Esports)

6 more games and all the chances for Good Chi Gaming. Reef esports will look to get their revenge and show that game 1 was just a fluke, Team Vitagen will look to lock their 1st place and Red Team 1 will look to prove their contender status. Zero Gaming will also look for their playoff clinch, so there are no easy games left for Good Chi gaming, everything is in their hands, let's see if they deliver.

Savage Mikus prediction: 2nd

Reef Esports - by far, the best team in the league based on their Soloq ranks, so much that even their competitive games look like Soloq. Talented but unpolished Reef gaming have landed in SLE with a splash winning every game that they have appeared in except for 25 min stomp in hands of Good Chi Gaming. Team reevaluated their game and defeated league favorites Team Vitagen 2 times and
looked to be the promising contenders for first place but a D1 Soloq incident happened for teams Toplaner Westman, forced Reef in search for a sub to complete the remaining of the season.

Remaining games: 6(2 vs Red Team 1, 2 vs Zero Gaming, Good Chi Gaming, Team Evolution)

Depending on how good is Red Team 1, Reef gaming might have a medium or pretty easy remaining schedule. The game against Good Chi Gaming will be for sure, hotly contested, but the rest of it is unsure. For it all to happen, Reef still needs to find a Topliner, a Soloq incident has the team Toplaner Westman disqualified for the remaining of the season(qualified to diamond 1, personally I think this guy is a bit of an inter and belongs in our league, but rules are rules). Let's hope that Reef won't have to drop more games due to the inability to fill their roster.

Savage Mikus prediction: 3rd.

Battle for the playoffs

NSG Based Department vs Zero Gaming

Only 2 teams are battling for 6th place which will give them chance to compete in the playoffs. Last split finalist NSG Based Department has gone through a full roster swap and has landed with a very entertaining squad that delivers on interesting team comps, but not in wins or competitive games. Meanwhile Zero Gaming is truly embodying their team name if we talk about wins in summoners rift. Truth to be told Zero has had some close games and has gotten very close to their first win, hopefully, both teams can show some teeth at the remaining of the split and not be free wins for the rest of the league.

Remaining games: Zero Gaming - 5(2x vs Good Chi Gaming, 2x vs Reef Esports, Team Evolution.

NSG Based Department - 3(Team Vitagen, Team Evolution, Red Team 1)

Going in the last weeks of the regular season, both teams have 3 wins, all gotten outside of the summoner's rift. Zeros' chances sure are higher than NSG due to more chances and different mentality of their champ select, but for now, they have not had any success with it. Battle for 6th place, most likely, will come down to tie breaker, where Zero is the favorites, but anything can happen.

Savage Mikus Prediction: Zero Gaming 6th, NSG Based Department 7th.
